The ultimate mission of our interdisciplinary team is to address and advance the field of cardiovascular disease by developing innovative surgical and minimally invasive transcatheter procedures, novel diagnostic tools, and next-generation therapeutic concepts to not only reduce patient mortality, but also improve the quality of life of affected patients. A multidisciplinary and highly translational team approach combined with basic-experimental, preclinical, and clinical research are key to achieving these goals.
