Perioperative Echokardiographie
Our newly designed modular course in perioperative echocardiography is aimed at all those interested in this imaging procedure and covers all examination modalities in cardiac surgery and catheter-assisted interventions. We have been running transesophageal echocardiography courses with great success since 1999.
The importance, complexity and specialisation of perioperative echocardiography has increased steadily. The content of the modules covers the entire updated spectrum including 3D echocardiography, quantitative echocardiography, speckle tracking and echocardiography in catheter-assisted interventions.
The use of transthoracic echocardiography in interventional procedures under local anaesthesia, for patients in the recovery room and in intensive care has increased significantly in importance.
We offer the new modules for perioperative focused transthoracic echocardiography.
Our modules comply with the new DGAI guidelines and are certified by the DGAI and the Berlin Medical Association.

PFE (perioperative focused echocardiography)
- PFE modules 1 & 2: TTE basic course & advanced course = 700,00 €
- PFE module 3 & 4: TEE basic course & advanced course = 800,00 €

We are pleased to be able to offer you new dates in 2023 for the qualification.
If the number of registrations exceeds the course capacity, a waiting list will be created. If the event is cancelled due to force majeure, the course fee will be refunded. The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 25 places. After registering for a course, you will receive a payment request. As soon as your transfer is received, your registration will be processed and a confirmation sent by post.
Whether the course will take place in presence or as an online course depends on the pandemic situation.

We use your personal data in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. Your personal data will not be passed on to third parties for other purposes.
Certification of the course by the Berlin Medical Association has been applied for.
