Finding Solutions to Everyday Hospital Problems

To safeguard our highly specialized treatment processes and to optimize treatment quality, we look at day-to-day problems arising in the fields of medicine, nursing care and administration. Interdisciplinary project and working groups develop suggestions for solutions and workable concepts.

This project management is coordinated by our quality and risk management personnel. They initiate projects, monitor existing projects by means of status reports, report to the organization and development team and head projects or act as moderators.

Our project management is based on current scientific knowledge. The team realizes national expert standards and develops guidelines and standard operating procedures. As examples, we have developed working concepts on bedsore and fall prevention and nutrition management and put them into practice. Further results have been introducing patient identity bracelets and DIVI (German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive and Emergency Medicine) standards to increase the safety of pharmacological treatment.
