The Outpatient Department is often the first point of contact for patients who are suddenly confronted with the diagnosis of a heart defect. Those affected generally have many questions that need answering. We aim to provide optimal medical treatment for our patients as well as addressing all their concerns. Our patients often have questions regarding schooling, a suitable choice of profession and the desire to have children of their own. For this reason our Department also focuses on the care of teenagers and adults with congenital heart defects.
After their operations patients‘ further care and treatment are provided by the Outpatient Department for Congenital Heart Disease – Pediatric Cardiology
