Interdisciplinarity as a guiding principle
The specialized physicians at the TVU provide patients with multidisciplinary advice on all treatment methods, determine the therapy on the basis of the individual clinical picture, current guidelines and G-BA guidelines, and perform complex catheter-based valve interventions in our modern hybrid operating rooms. Our cardiologists and cardiac surgeons work closely with experts in cardioanesthesia.
The interdisciplinary TVU nursing team has many years of experience in the care of heart valve patients.
Our coordinators Liane Franz, Viola Fischer, Svetlana Sonnabend and Susann Tietz are your first contact persons for questions regarding the TVU. In addition to communicating with patients, making appointments and organizing appointments, they provide scientific support for the clinical work of the TVU and coordinate national and international networking within the framework of studies.
