The DHZB Lange Symposium 2021

On 25 September 2021, top-class specialists had been invited, for the 16th time, to exchange information and experience in the field of Congenital Heart Disease. Under the header “InGENEious Cardiology” they discussed this time the latest developments in the field of Cardiogenetics.
The “DHZB Lange Symposium”, named after the founder of the DHZB’s Department for Congenital Heart Disease/Pediatric Cardiology, Prof. Peter E. Lange, is now regarded as one of the most important symposia in this field.
Novel insights resulting from genetic research continuously drive genomic medicine. What are the new diagnostic steps and possibilities for therapy in inherited cardiovascular diseases and congenital heart defects at present and in the future? What are the chances for improved care for patients related to precision medicine?
All these questions were addressed. We thank all speakers and participants for their great contributions.
Here you may watch a selection from the 16th DHZB Lange Symposium lectures.
