Restoring Ability to Cope with Everyday Life
The Rehabilitation Center Seehof is a specialized institution for cardiological and psychosomatic rehabilitation. It is recognized by the German State Pension Insurance Scheme and is in Teltow, on the southwest edge of Berlin. The aim of cardiological rehabilitation is to restore patients’ physical and psychological ability to cope with everyday life and to enable them to return to work. The treatment concepts are based on the guidelines of the professional societies for rehabilitation medicine.
The Center: An Overview
All established rehabilitation therapies are offered at the center.
A program of movement and physiotherapy tailored to the needs of the individual patient promotes holistic rehabilitation.
The aim is to identify personal risk factors and to strengthen the patient’s motivation to make corresponding changes in lifestyle. Examples are weight reduction, giving up smoking, stress management and taking up a suitable form of exercise.
