The DHZC Lange Symposium 2016
On 17 and 18 September 17 2016, top-class specialists from every continent had been invited to Berlin by the DHZC, for the 12th time, to exchange information and experience concerning the latest developments and new procedures in heart medicine for children.
The two-day “DHZC Lange Symposium”, named after the founder of the DHZC’s Department for Congenital Heart Disease/Pediatric Cardiology, Prof. Peter Lange, is now regarded as one of the most important symposia in this field.
The focus this year was on atrioventricular septal defects, combined defects of the heart’s atria, ventricles and the walls dividing them, which lead to open connections between the atria and the ventricular chambers.
Twenty-five specialists from the DHZC and other leading international institutions reported in over 32 lectures on existing forms of treatment as well as research projects and their results.
Here you may watch a selection from the 12th DHZC Lange Symposium lectures.
