The CMR Academy offers various courses in magnetic resonance tomography that are adapted to the specific needs of the participants.
The leading international role of the Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin in the development and application of cardiovascular magnetic resonance tomography led in the year 2001 to the foundation of the CMR Academy cmr-academy.com.
The Academy offers a number of courses for radiologists, cardiologists and practitioners of nuclear medicine from all over the world. The courses are recognized by the German Society for Cardiology, the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance and the Berlin Medical Associaion (Ärztekammer).

3.0 Tesla Scanner
DEVELOPMENT
1996
Installation of the first cardiovascular 1.5 Tesla MRT machine. This innovation enabled the German Heart Institute Berlin to play a groundbreaking role in the development of the MRT method. At an early stage we were able to offer patients excellent imaging quality, allowing heart catheter examinations to be avoided in many cases.
