Outpatient Departments of the Department for Internal Medicine – Cardiology
Our outpatient departments and medical care unit provide ambulatory treatment for patients with heart, lung and vascular diseases. These departments are staffed by specialist physicians of the Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin. Patients who wish to be examined and treated at the DHZB first need a referral from their community-based physician.
Spectrum of treatment offered:
- examination and advice in cases of acute chest pain, breathing difficulties, fainting, etc.
- treatment and care of patients with heart disease of all kinds
- diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disturbances (pacemaker, defibrillator).
