Quality Management at the Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin
The Department for Quality Management is responsible to the Administrative Director. It co-ordinates, organizes and performs all quality management activities of the DHZB. These are based on the decisions made by the team for organizational development in conjunction with the Executive Board.
Quality management at the Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin is prescribed in the charter of the foundation and in its mission statement. Our top priorities are the optimal treatment and care of our patients. Each patient may expect to receive comprehensive treatment of his or her illness at the highest possible professional standards.
Third KTQ® Certification for the DHZB
From 21.-23.10.20089 the Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin underwent auditing by KTQ® ("Co-operation for Quality and Transparency in Health Care"), which is a recognized nationwide procedure for the quality certification of hospitals. After these three days it was announced that the DHZB had once again received certification with above average results. This renewed certification is the result of three years of intensive work on various projects.
