To conclude these very brief observations in which only a few aspects could be highlighted, I would like, in the name of the management board, to thank all those who have assisted and supported us in the past twenty years. Our special thanks go to the foundation trustees, all the staff at the Heart Institute, the patients who placed their trust in us and the many, many people who have shown good will towards our work. I, personally, would like above all to thank my colleagues in the management board, who have always led and managed the German Heart Institute with remarkable unanimity in their aim to fulfil our common mission.
